Michelle Bruce

My work explores the relationship between drawing, structure and hidden narrative. Intricate ink patterns and tessellations conceal stories or scenes that emerge from within the drawing itself. The densely layered textures reward slow looking, gradually unfolding over time. I create images that invite viewers to discover the narrative.
