Dora Williams

I create abstract and expressive paintings exploring figures and forms from nature. Working mainly with acrylic and mixed media, I build up layers of paint, then scrape back and partly erase them. Forms emerge and disappear through this process, expressing memory, vulnerability and emotion while remaining open to viewers’ responses.
